Sunrise day care will focus all its resources on the protection, safety and well being of children in all of its day care services.  We will ensure that the service meets the needs of all children, from all cultures and family backgrounds. The service will operate in partnership with families recognising the unique qualities that each family and child brings to it. We acknowledge and respect the rich cultural heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, embedding their perspectives into our practices to promote reconciliation and cultural competence.
At Sunrise Day Care, the best interest of a child are the paramount concern and care should be provided to a child in a way that:-

Sunrise Day Care aims to provide a secure, happy and stimulating environment for children, which facilitates the optimum development of each child.  We aim to provide, develop, resource and manage a care service that fulfils the needs of the community and works in partnership with families to provide professional and high quality care for young children.
Sunrise Day Care aims to support all educators to enable them to provide quality care in a home environment which is safe. We encourage play as a way to enhance children's life skills which include social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. We have a commitment to provide a Family Day Care Service that is culturally sensitive and appropriate.
We are committed to providing an environment for children that encourages a sense of identity, well-being, confidence, connection and opportunities to contribute to the world around them. We are dedicated to sustainability and environmental stewardship. We teach children the importance of caring for our planet through hands-on experiences and activities that promote sustainability practices, such as recycling, composting, gardening, and energy conservation. Sunrise Day Care endeavours to meet the needs of children's natural curiosity through proving opportunities for children to experiment, discover, solve problems and find out about cause and effects for themselves, and the world around them. Each child has opportunity with guidance to develop self-discipline, take responsibility and achieve independence.
